program is designed for BHA members.
Coordinator, Vicki Folger, arranges small group visits to local sites of historic interest. The Capitol Region is bursting with such opportunities but many of us never seem to get around to visiting them. Out and About provides us a designated time and a group of congenial people for company.

We are going OUT and ABOUT to the Albany Institute to see the
Schuyler Time Capsule Exhibit. Join us for an interesting look at what was found beneath the statue of General Schuyler.
The cost is $5 per person.

Historic Cherry Hill tells the story of America through the lives and experiences of five generations of an Albany Family. One of the city’s most recognizable landmarks, Cherry Hill was built in 1787 for Philip and Maria Van Rensselaer. Philip was Bethlehem’s very first Supervisor, elected in 1794 at a time when Cherry Hill’s section of Albany was part of the Town of Bethlehem.
